I'm looking for more information of John Barclay Stewart born Old Kilpatrick, Scotland in 1863. Married to Sarah E B Radcliffe in 1890. John Barclay Stewart went under the name of J Barclay Stewart and practised as a Surgeon/Physician in Haslingden, Lancs, for the majority of his life. He and his wife had 5 children,
John Barclay (1891), Vernon Radcliffe (1894), Robert Howard (1895), Moray Vincent (1899) & Mary Millicent (1903). Of the children John and Robert both died of Diptheria in 1903. Vernon was decapitated by an aircraft propeller in Australia around 1920.

J Barclay had 10 siblings: Robert Mitchell who became a Minister, Allan who became a Solicitor, James who worked for a company in the Seychelles and died there, Elizabeth who died in infancy, Algernon Percy (known as Percy) who became a Vet, Agnes, Margaret, Marshall Sophos who emigrated to Canada, a stillborn son and Leopold Gordon Davidosn who died in infancy.

J Barclay's parents were John & Elizabeth. This John's parents were John (1832) & Margaret Young (1841). Elizabeth's parents were Robert & Elizabeth.

Any ascending information would be gratefully received.
