Careful BC the feathery bit will tickle your nose...

Don't spill your ink.. that will cause blots and psychologists like to read all sorts of things into them.. .. secrets even..

'Emma' Report 4 Jul 2013 10:51

Am confused ...this talk of nuns and cucumber sandwiches

Persephone Report 4 Jul 2013 11:09

Mau started a story and I added and then Dermot added but he has removed his post it was before Leslie's post..

That's about it really .. I started and ended my literary career in one post Emma.. but we will be able to look forward to reading Leslie's poetry.

Thanks for setting me straight am confused enough ;-)

Dermot

Dermot Report 4 Jul 2013 18:03

This not intended for the GR Writers Group & I certainly do not wish to frighten Les, our newest scribbler.

'The secret of a really good story is to have a memorable beginning & an excellent ending - making sure the two are fairly close together'.

OK - wipe this statement from your memory or else!

PS: I dislike triangular cucumber sandwiches. Is there a Psychiatrist in the house?

BC dark side? Bournville dark chocolate is jolly nice ;-) and (adopting Joyce Grenfell's voice) Don't chew your quill dear they're not cheap you know :-DX

Well done to you Stella, glad you've come back to the site also. Ann is organising the group now, after us all having a bit of a break from writing for varied reasons so I'm sure she will be in touch as soon as she reads your post or if you send her your email she will let the rest of us know. :-)

You will of course be very welcome Stella. As I was the only one writng a novel length story I guess it was mine that were too long. I will stick to short stories in future then, didn't realise that was why you left.

I am not sure that I still have your e mail so could you PM me with it please.
