Hello Hazel,
Glad your groups is still going, it must of been needed. Good for you to get things started.
I havent done any for a yr or more. My intentions about this time last year was to do some xmas cards but on the bigger aida as I have trouble seeing. I think it was probably 11 count. Never got round to it.
I have done latch rug making that is so much easier to see.

Next year we are doing a Exhibition ( think thats how you spell it. } in the library couldnt do it this year as not been about much to sort it out. But hoping to get a date this month when its going to be on next year.

Hope you are all having good stitching time

Hi treehunter,
Oh thats great you got your group going, thats quite a time the library allowed you as well. we had a Craft late aftenoon/early eve at our libray and if I remember rightly it was only for a hr and half. People could take there projects mostly it was knitting or cross stitching.

Hi Lorraine,

I just got my xmas card projects to look at the other night but I couldnt see the chart clearly enough and I am not able to judge the squares so having to go off to get them enlarged some time. Its 14 aida as well which I have trouble with so not sure how good they will end up. Might have to change the aida to 11 count which I have got. After all I do it for fun, not to struggle with.

Hello,
I really struggle with my eyesight now and have to do cross stitch on a 11 count aida. A few weeks ago I got a bargain at the boot sale and got a few big pieces of 11 count aida for 50p. I have lots of thread and I only do simple small stitching from a book I've got. dogs, cats, flowers etc.
