Thanks, Ann
A new big library has opened in our nearest town and it appears to have most of the books. I wanted to see the new facilities so it will be a good excuse for a visit.

Glad I didn't try then Persie. Although some people seemed to enjoy it on the kindle thread. Life is too short to read something you are not gripped by! :-)

I have downloaded one and put the other one on order for delivery on 24th. I'm still reading Just One Damned Thing. Haven't had much time to read lately and have only done it when I go to bed - then I get tired and don't read for a long as I would like to.......I'll get there.

I am still waiting for the previous suggestions from the Library.
If they have arrived by tomorrow will try to collect them and will also look for the ones of this months list.

Have already read The Snowman. (can't remember if it was from library or charity shop) will have to check my book cases and book piles to see if I still have it.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 10 Oct 2013 17:10

I have now managed to get The Snowman by Jo Nesbo, in a charity shop for 95p
Pleased about that as it is not my normal type of book so I didn't want to pay too much for it.
