Angela Hamilton Thornton born Denholme 1928

Hi, I'm trying to find my birth mother. She was born Angela Hamilton Thornton in August 1928 and the family's address is given as "Hillside", Ogden Lane, Denholme, Nr Bradford. She was still giving this as her address throughout the 1950's and to1961. By 1953 she was working in a hotel in Harrogate and in September 1961 listed The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate, where she was employed as a Floor Housekeeper, as her address.

I found the record of a marriage between Angela H Thornton and Willie E Johnson in 1976. The marriage was registered in Burnley and Pendle District but I've not yet had chance to check if this is the same Angela. That's probably my next bit of research.

if anyone knows what happened to Angela after 1961 or has news of any other members of her family I'd really love to hear from you.
