Hi I am hoping to contact Venett or Carol Simpson maiden name.(or any family of)
Born after 1946 and before 1954.
Father Thomas Nixon Simpson, Mother Laura Pearl Johnston.
In 1954 the family were living at 7 Boyle Street, Ermington NSW Australia.
Any info would be great.

From Ryerson index, sadly an early death for Thomas Nixon Simpson. Perhaps this was the source of your last known date?

Nothing for Laura...perhaps she re-married? If so, might the children have taken their step-father's name?

At least with the names on this thread, they are available on an internet search. You could try Facebook, and of course, search trees on this site.

Have you asked Ryerson or the 'Ask A Librarian' service (as suggested by Valerie on the other thread) for details of the Announcement? It may give married names or grandchildren. Grandchildren in particular might be on facebook.
If the funeral directors are mentioned, they may be willing to pass on a letter to whoever organised the funeral.
You might also consider placing an advert in the local papers asking anyone who is related to contact you.

I've found Laura living in Queensland in the 1977 and the 1980 Electoral roll but haven't found either Venetta or Carol as yet.

Maybe the Queensland State Library's Ask us service may help with a look up of the death notice for Laura.
