i have the marrige cert
john dennis stanley wright / gloria may williams
they married in east sheen surrey in 1943 at all saints church east sheen ( surrey ).
johns grandad father and father were on the cert both names william george wright. His address was 6 lewin road, east sheen
she was 19 and he was twenty.
i know my dad told me that she ran away from home to marry john as she was under age to marry without her parents consent. i remember my dad telling me he was at war when this happened.
All my dad did was talk to me about his sister and how much he loved her and missed her.
She was born in braunton north devon on the 28th may 1923 her father was alfred williams and her mum florence margaret ann and there address when she was born was sunnyside,south street, braunton. my little sister was even named gloria may after her. i just want to find out what happened to her for my father who sadly passed away in 2005

i have sent for johns death certificate, ive found out that his father and grandfather were both named william george wright somewhere in surrey it was on the marriage cert

You are speculating about a possible second marriage for Gloria - in her MAIDEN name - without saying whether you have done anything about finding out what happened to John Wright............

i have found who i think my auntie might of married second time Theophilus m Williams in 1963 . i cannot find a birth cert or death cert for this man only a marriage cert
can anyone help please

With such a common combination of surnames and no further information available it is virtually impossible to judge whether any of the 300+ Wright/Williams births registered in England and Wales between 1943~1963 were a product of the 1943 marriage.

Amongst the 300+ births there were some in Surrey but none in Surrey North Eastern registration district which is where the 1943 marriage took place.
