The info posted by FAIRTHORN shows that Eric was almost certainly NOT the father of Leslie and Carole.

Their father was a man also named LESLIE...........his marriage info has been posted as well.

As you will see, FAIRTHORN and I had exchanges with regard to this.

Yes the Eric/Carole/Lesle info are the correct people I remember the name Melling coming into it ,will chase up the Liverpool connection.

Thanks for the Moffatt info on James and Elizabeth, dont know how you find it all... Are the LDS films some kind of microfiche available somewhere?
