Not seeing any births unless she had been married before

Ooops I missed this one...it seems he travelled quite a bit but there are only two entries for him leaving one in 1946 and one in 1950 but this must have been his last journey going by the date

I think you will find that the daughter is Mavis possibly born as Anson??

It looks like he was off to Australia after this voyage and I do not think he was born in the UK either

Have turned up a record for a Robert Leonard Dare born Lewisham in the free births registered in Jan-March 1888 which might be him. I know he was previously married and divorced from Edith Samuels - haven't traced her yet. I think Lynski would be right. As his second marriage didn't take place till 27 nov. 46 the baby probably was registered as Anson - will check. Thank you all - this is getting very exciting. I need to find her. cheers, jenni

If you read the site guidelines it does ask not to duplicate requests about the same family to save other members looking for things that have already been found

The chances are he was born in Australia or even the US
