The corresponding death puts her born 1927 but I can't find the birth either. Looks like she had 2 children though.

Looking at Helena Maud Turnbull death, this birth fits:

Births Sep 1890
Blakey Helena Maud Woolwich 1d 1244

But I can't find a marriage for her and I can't find her family in 1911.

Now, there is a private tree on Ancestry that has her listed as Blakey/Turnbull.

I wonder if she married abroad and Violet was also born abroad?

I do have original birth certificate and adoption file.. that is all the info I have... occupation was a macine operator (admirality)

Hi guys, I have asked Bexley who resided at the address given on my mums adoption file and that is what I have entered above... there should be a comma in between John and Lilian.. sorry typo error as I was at work and not supposed to be on here but I feel I am closer than we have ever been in tracing her... Thank you for all your help.. I just need to find her or relatives before my mums turns 60 in January... ;-)

No sure if it is a help or a blind alley - ask Bexleyheath Library to look up the ER for the address you have, just to see the names of the other voters. If they don't have the ER, they will know who has.

There's a Helena Maud who died in Dartford in 1978. Can't seem to find a marriage for a Helena M to a Turnbull though.

Are you sure about the name John Lilian G Turnbull?
