That would make her born 1903, is that likely?

no that would make ruth 43 when she had me in1946 still searchin records t find info on ruth and poss my sister was 21/2 yrs when i born thanks for help :-)

You may well have been born in Birmingham , she could have been born just about anywhere.

How do you know about Ann? There looks to be an Irene, born a bit after you, aslo Birmingham. but not an Ann in a realistic place or timeframe


Interestingly there is a Ruth I Diffin marries not long after you were born

There was also a marriage of a Ruth Diffin in 1953 Birmingham to a Leslie T Hayden There was also a birth of an ANNette Diffin in Solihulll Birmingham in 1949 (mmn Diffin).

It does look like that this Ruth Hayden died in 1980 Birmingham and was born 28.12.1919. But it is another idea to throw into the ring.

Ann/Annette sounds good
