Hi,
My great grandfather George Johnson married Mary Ann Soulsby in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1873 .They had 6 children,Barbara Anne, Margaret, George, Elizabeth, Thomas Henry, Robert, all born in the Newcastle area,would appreciate any help in tracing living relatives.

At least you know that Thomas and Robert would have married post-1911 (IF they married) which means that the spouse's identity will NOT be in doubt.....the surname is on the INDEX

You certainly know your way around,I already had some information on the Spoors and had posted requests to 2 trees to find living relatives. Thomas and Robert were the smart ones they emigrated to Scotland,so I already have their details unfortunately they did not keep in touch with the rest of the family so cannot help.
where do you get all your information,is it on GR or is there somewhere else I should be trying .

Definitely NOT on GR...........

BMD info is from freebmd up to around 1945-50...............from Ancestry for more recent events.........the deaths are from Ancestry

I posted the deaths of the daughters specifically to show (in two cases) their married names, so that you can fill in the gaps by finding their marriages on freebmd..........plus, of course, any children resulting from those marriages

The War death info is from the CWGC site
