Charles was the brother of my farther he was born at Howden in 1901 and lived in Hull and was a conductor on the railway also conductor of the Hull railway band that used to play at Howden show.
He had brothers Tom,Albert, Fred, Alan,Arthur,George killed in WW1, sisters Ivy, and Elsie
