Find Living Relatives

Hello, can anyone help me please?

I am trying to discover what happened to my gr Uncle, Martin Andrew George Butler, who was born February 1916, in the Woolwich/Plumstead area.

All I know is that he was fostered at a young age by Violet Mabel Dunn, but then disappeared of all trace.

I am not sure whether he went to war, or moved away. I have checked death records, but can't find anything to say he died.

He may be in a home for the elderly. Who knows!

If anyone can help as to how I can search records for either type of home that would be appreciated.

If the death found by patchem is that of Martin's aunt, as seems extremely likely, he would have been aged only 5, and probably put into a home of some sort, unless there were other relations who were able to look after him

It does not make sense as she has it as Abraham's second marriage/ relationship according to her and his first wife does not die until 1918 .
There are children with death datesbut marked private so worth talking to her though.
