Trying to find Elizabeth Thompson (nee Sherlock) born 1957 in Sunderland. Married to Michael Thompson with a daughter Lindsay.

As it may be easier to find the daughter, a correction on the spelling for her

Lyndsey A

who married in 2001 in Bradford.

Lyndsey was listed on the ER on 192.com until 2006.

You could try facebook for her.

PM sent with marriage details

EDIT - actually, there are 2 birth registrations for daughter with the same name, 12 years apart both in the same reg district and mmn Sherlock. Unless something hinky is going on, the marriage found may not be for the correct person

They married in 1980, but she had already changed her name by depoll to make it look like they were married as Michael Thompson was pending a divorce so they couldn't get married until that went through.

Detective - I am interested in finding out about Elizabeth as she is my birth mother. She had me adopted when I was 4 1/2 months old.

OK - should we stop trying to find Lyndsey?

If not, it would be worth trying to search on FB, as well as on this site.
You could also search under the possible married surname on 192.com for the ER entry upto 2006. Although she may have moved, and is the correct person, the current occupiers or near neighbours may have more up to date information. It is a pay to view site, not a subscription one.

You should also register yourself on the various agency sites - some of which are linked via the 'Information' provided by GR on the summary of this thread.

Joy Kentish Maid also originated a thread pinned to the top of the Board entitled "Very useful tips: for information only" giving further links

Thanks detective - I have looked on FB and might have found someone who fits the bill. I am waiting for a message from her- if I get one!
