I am trying to trace any living descendant of the above couple who lived in Poplar London in the 1930's and 1940's. Any help would be gratefully received.

Have you tried "search trees" on this site, or facebook. There may be marriages and births relating to the family on freebmd.

Yes I have thanks Liz. People just don't seem to answer - even when I put my private email address on the message! Facebook members seem to be very young - so I would have to take a few guesses on offspring.

Have you looked for their deaths? They must have been born pretty early. Informants on death certs are often family members.
