I did wonder that , although Hance does'nt seem to fit in with her parents being Green ?

she could of been informally adopted by them...then changed her name to Green

Po ssibly that is what may happened . If i get the marraige cert from .1935.it should give me an accurate age for her .

I have obtained the marraige cert for Edith Green and George Atkins in 1935 , it shows her age as 25 in1935 . This ties in with her being born app 1910 , she could be Edith Hance ? . Is there any record of children being born to this couple ?Can anyone assist ?

Who do she name as her father on the cert? Augustas?

Edith Hance's birth appears to be registered twice, which is interesting
