Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find LESLIE KINNEAR, know as Les. I believe he was born in 1934, possible in London, his MUM was FREDA KINNEAR. They lived in Southend on Sea in the 1940's at Southview Drive.

Any help or information any one can give me would be great.

These all look right, thank you for the information. Even if Leslie was the informant in 1970, he could have moved on in the last 40 years, how would I go about finding him now if he has?!

Ok, to answer posts -

He was born in 1934.

From records I have been searching I think he married a Catherine Sheeley in 1956.

The Leslie that died in Southend is Leslie Alfred, I think he was Leslie G. His mum was definitely Freda Kinnear.

There is a Leslie G Kinnear living with a Catherine Kinnear on 192.com but I don't have an account, I don't know if someone can search for me, I don't know how that works.

But the one born in 1934 (Leslie G) had a mother with maiden name Davies. There is no marriage for a Freda Davies to a Kinnear. He also had 3 siblings all from Lambeth area and he married in Camberwell district. It just doesn't fit with Southend.

His birth fits with this marriage:

Yes that does sound more realistic doesn't it. I was told he was born in 1934, but actually when I thought about it it doesn't add up because apparently I was told he was about 14 when my mum was born in '47.....so he would have been born around 1933 and there isn't a listing for a Leslie Kinnear that year I don't think.

If he is that Leslie he would have been 21 when mum was born.....not 14. Trouble is relatives, especially the older ones, sometimes their recall is a bit inaccurate!

I definitely think you have it right with the Leslie A. I was also told he was an only child! I dont know.....

His mum was a cousin of my gran, but she died 7 years ago, so I cant clarify anything with her. My great aunts daughter is trying to remember what she can but it seems to be a bit hit and miss!

Who did he marry? You said he has a widow.
