Their births come up with another ref and a small s against the page nos . indicating they were adopted and only a small cert which wouldn't show their parents names would be issue by the GRO.

Have you added your name to the National Adoption register

it might be worth adding there names to uk adoption register in case they come looking, how do you know troy is deceased if he was adopted

Penny Report 11 Sep 2012 03:37

If you do sign up to Adoption UK and other such sites. it would be better to do so in the correct (full) forenames

Hi Penny,

I'll do that but first wait a little longer to see if their biological mother who claims to have contact with them does arrange a get-together for us. We're never sure with Ann about what is true and what is wishful thinking.

Kind regards

Dominic and Pam Theresa

How do you know Troy died?

How did you manage to find them, Sanny?

Reggie

Reggie Report 13 Sep 2012 14:44

I thought the whole point of the adoption process was that the birth parents were not told the 'new' names of the children.

Dominic...............

Disparaging comments about the mother are inappropriate..............and totally unnecessary

penny

i looked to see if i could find a death for troy as seemily he had died and came up with one that matched his birth date, and through coreesepondance with dominic he confirmed a clue to troy new surname, seemily the birth mum had contact or knew of the new surname, and from there i found all the other children who kept first names, just a surname change so just actually lucky i suppose, searches for adopted children arent usually that easy

Please would someone kindly tell me if these nephews and nieces are children or adults?
It just seems a very odd story to me.
Thanks,
Peter
