No its not for probate reasons, all that is lined up for charities.
My Grandad was the sort of man who had a number of children by a number of different women. He and my Dad stopped talking when i was a baby. I am quite interested to speak to my Dad's half siblings to see what they knew about his life before my Nan, Auntie and my Dad. Also a friend of hers from the past has contacted us since 'the' family death and really wants to get back in touch with Pat.

I couldnt find her on any other tree's which is very strange, i will see if i can make contact with her daughter.

Emma, I think you should pursue the address lead. 2005 isn't long ago. The current occupants might have a forwarding address, and it's quite possible she has stayed in touch with some of the neighbours.

Hello All,

Thank you for all replies. Ive never been in contact with Pat myself, she is my Dad's half sister that he didnt know 'officially' about. I was in touch with a man via here who was related to her on her mother's side and i sent him a message but he hasnt replied unfortunately. I have tried Facebook for her daughter but nothing has come up, im wondering if her daughter is now married. Someone kindly sent me the address she was registered at in 2002, but Kingsmill has now informed me this was sold in 2005 so thats another dead end :-|

She was born in 1945 you should be able to find her birth on FreeBMD and possible siblings

Unlikely someone will just know her.

Have you tried Search Trees on here. also the BT Online phone book for her parents and siblings.

I am trying to find a relative who was born Patricia K Savile in the 1940's, she was born in Leeds and her father was called John H Savile and she had a brother and possibly a sister. I think she is now divorced and has a daughter.
As far as i know she is still living in the Leeds or Driffield area's. If you know Pat please can you contact me or ask her to contact me.
I do have her mother's name, married name, year of birth, daughter and ex husbands name to confirm we have the same person if you think you know her.
