I am not going to do any damage that is why I won't be contacting the said Denise as am well aware of what can happen. I am going through 'proper' channels but as have no money to use all the expensive routes am doing the research myself while 'proper' channels do any contacting. But thanks for any help I have gleaned from this site.

Yes am related but he may not know he is adopted so don't know how to contact the said Denise as it can open a can of worms he might not appreciate.
Thought she was married to the younger brother but couldn't find the right middle name of John M? Don't know the marriage details due to that.
Couldn't find them in a divorce register and have her address at time of FIL death.
Not sure how to handle this now. Want to get younger brother marriage cert to help pull links together and then somehow find older brother. Hopefully if there was a Will it will give me more.

Not seeing a marriage in Yorkshire for a Phillip Lightfoot

We looked for children using the surname combination and only found the one natural child born in 1947

Hi, have been trying to find links. Yes the couple is correct. Yes found they had another son in 1947. Found a Denise Lightfoot, d-in-l registered the later of the two parents to die but can't establish a link still with Philip E. How do I find out if they had any more children? Have sent for a copy of the Will incase that can give anything further?

If you think the people found are correct....buy the more recent of the death certs, for info about the person who registered the death

Sorry have no more info yet. Was hoping it was an alternative route to finding the son as all other routes have failed due to lack of information. Appreciate the help though. Thanks.

when did Phillip marry. His marriage cert should name his father so you can double check the names we have found.

We have no way of knowing if we have found the right couple .

The name of the informant on one of their death certs may help
