Somebody from the Channel Islands was in Lower Swell, Gloucestershire recently trying to make contact with any of the Hathaway family. Please get in touch if you can.

Were they from Sark as Dame Sybil Hathaway was very prominent in WW2. Try posting/searching on rootsweb CHANNEL-ISLANDS.

otherwise try the Channel Island family history site.

To Pamela . When I was a youngster (in the 40's) there was a family Hathaway living in Stow on the Wold, Janet was about my age then say 12 . Hope this may help. Pat Foster.
