Hi everyone, I am looking for living relatives from Watson family who originally came from Sculcoates in Hull. My grandmother was Fanny Blanche Watson and I had aunty Beattie, uncle Bill who lived in Princess Avenue Hull where I visted with my grandmother and aunty from Leeds around 50 years ago. My aunty Beattie had sons one I remember was Colin, if anyone can help please get in touch.

Hi Lynski, thank you for that info, this looks very much like it could be, I could not find this and as I am quite new unsure how to locate this information you provided.

Lynski Report 4 Oct 2012 23:35

I found that census on another site.

This could be the marriage of George and Harriet???

Marriages Jun 1904 (>99%)
Cousins Harriett Venice Hull 9d 552
Watson George William Hull 9d 552

The birth certificate of Fanny would confirm their names.

There are possibly 4 more children born after 1911??

Use FreeBMD to find them -

http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl

Put in Surname as Watson and Spouse/Mother surname as Cousins

Then you can try using the "Search all trees" function under the Search button above.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

Not seeing your aunt Beattie? I looked for Brewer/Watson births on FreeBMD but couldn't see a likely candidate.

When did Fanny die? I can't see a death for her under Brewer or Watson.

Hi Rose, Fanny Blanche Watson died 13th March 1971 the day after my 13th birthday so remember it well, she died in St james hospital leeds. she never married although had 4 children to John Thomas brewer and then one child to Frederick Jackson. Facinating what you find out, I am so interested in finding my ancestors now, I know that John Thomas Brewer died I think in 1978 if I recall but cannot find as yet if he went on to have any further siblings or even get married.
Aunt beattie may have been know as something else I am uncertain, still trying to peice that together, come from a large and somewhat fragmented family. Thank yoiu for your help

Ronald G and George A died, so that brings it down to 4.
