So we need to look for a Sophia who married a James/Jesse Campbell?

sorry ,his date of birth was worked out from his date and age of death ,he may have taken his mothers name ,he ran away from home at 12 ,his father jessie was on his marriage cert and his father james was on his army papers .
as i said we have no trace of him from 0 to 12
from 12 he was a drummer boy in the boer war 1901-02 he travelled with the irish navvies and he was a bareknukle fighter and thats how he met dorothy they had their children in doncaster and then they moved south london i think then walton on the naze ,he was in the first world war and then he retired theres no more i can tell you it is just the first 12 years we cant find.
he said he was related to robert the bruce s sister and to colin campbell of the thin red line ive checked this out and bruces sister married a campbell and colin didnt have children, but probably had brothers,he also said his aunt isabell tried to buy his first son for 10 guines but he told her to get her own kids and that the news of the world would be looking for him xx
