The 3 photographs in question are now in the safe hands of Haringey Culture, Libraries and Learning at the Bruce Castle Museum along with the information I accumulated with you help.

Yes I did initally look for Alan Black's family BUT then when I went through the paperwork to do with our house I started to look for his wife's family - not getting anywhere - planning on contacting a programme or two with the details I have to see if they can help - Ive done all I can on here and Ancestry - even the contact with the family member from Switzerland with the same surname but aroudn 100yrs older hasn't got back to me - I only have UK access on Ancestry.

I have me own family tree on here and Ancestry which is quite extensive but wouldn't have found out as much as I have about the Black/Branch families if I hadn't posted on here and Ancestry.

I do appreciate your help!

thanks but I have made a tree with info on Ancestry - the only tree that comes up with anything close is a Jeanne Marie Jaccard and although born in Switzerland lived in USA. Ive been in touch with the tree owner

Alan Black who we bought our house from told us he lost his daughter in childbirth.

We have documents from before our house was built right up to when Ella Marie (or Marie Ella was given the house by her aunt)

I believe these wedding photos that we found to be of Archibald and Ella and the bride/groom's parents, bride & groom with bridesmaid, flower girl and best man.
