Nick didn't return to his thread in 2005......I wonder whether he'll do so now?

If you do return, Nick...............

You can't look for people without having some idea of names and birth years.

So get some credits for Scotlands people, and find the info about the supposed sisters.

As you know the location of James's birth and the exact date, one assumes you know the names of his parents, to help with identifying these females.

Then.......look in 'search trees' to see whether anyone else on this site is researching any of them.

I think you may need scotlandspeople to find out the siblings of James which is a pay to view site

If you purchase the marriage cert you will find out his fathers name

looking for relatives of james alexander copland born in the st nicholas district of aberdeen,scotland on the 1/10/1916 who had several sisters. He left scotland as far as i am aware in his teens and joined the navy. he was married to a woman called maisey howell and they had a son called james arthur and a daughter named diane.
last search 2005 with no replies so second time lucky as i would love to meet my relatives in scotland?????????????
