Thought I'd just do a random search on Ancestry. There are just 3 references to a Gillian S. Mathias - 1 birth, 1 marriage (would be late though, 1989!) and 1 entry on London electoral register in 1957. I can't see any other birth for someone of this name. |

Looks like she travelled with a fellow nurse Shirley Royner b 1934 home address for both 177 Anson Road Cricklewood NW2 |

Cant see any New Zealand records. She is listed as resident in St Mary's Hospital Praed Street Paddington in 1957 |
