The poster is not the adopted person, as female! I am wondering if she is another child?
Just checking - you have put that you 'believe' Janet had this son. Is there some doubt?

If you are the child in question, add yourself to the national adoption contact register.........having first obtained your birth cert, and verified the info about your mother.

This lady's current family may be unaware of the possibility of her having had this child..........
