Not seeing a death in 1946 for someone born 1901 where did this happen?

Have you tried looking in the trees on here to see if anyone has her in their tree?

Winifred was known to give birth to a child shortly before her death from cancer in 1946. The child is believed to have been adopted, but no further information is available. Should anyone believe that Winifred was their mother, a blood relative would love to hear from them.
