i thank you all for help in my search. i do know that thomas burrows had 2 sons. the first one peter was born in 1938. dont have any info on the other son. i guess peter may have had children. he didnt want to expand on things i asked him. he did confirm that he was the person i was looking for. i have his phone number but i would not intrude his privacy hes getting on in years.reggie i spoke to peter about 1yr ago after i put a notice in the m.e.news in the in touch section. he made contact with me via a phone call. i am not an expert on these things, you maybe. but you sound a bit abrupt with me. i have found 7 cousins of mine on this site. we all had a get together, and still meet up a couple of times a year. jax and flip have also have been a great help in my search thanks to all.

There is a Julie born 1963 that is possibly a daughter of one of the peters, who has a tree....you could try sending her a message

You seem to think Peter had a brother, but I can only see 2 possible sisters one in 1936 the other in 1940.

Have you tried to make contact with Jean on here, she has Peter & Thomas Burrows and Susannah De La Bertouche in her tree.

Why don't you purchase the mother's death cert? The informant's details may prove helpful.

You aren't going to get anywhere without buying certs...........the name isn't unusual enough

What 'sons'?

Why do you now refer to 'sons', having said earlier that you 'hope' he 'may' have had children. What do you actually KNOW......not hope, or assume.

You say you 'spoke' to Peter? When? And where?

reggie, i dont think he will have a tree on here, just hope one of sons have started a tree.

If he wasn't interested in your tree when you spoke to him, I doubt that he has a tree on here.........unless he has had a complete change of attitude

thanks to all who have replyed. thomas burrows was my fathers brother. i know about thomas and susannah, they had 2 sons peter and another son whos name i do not know.i did speak to peter regarding my tree as i have pictures of his dads grave. he cant remember much about his dad, and wasnt interested about the tree. i am just hoping that peter may have children who i can make contact with so pictures and info can be exchanged. i will apply for a few certs to see if that can help me. also how can i get to see the 2 trees of peter burrows. thanks again for all your help.
