Look I,m sitting here trying to help ...like others BUT the persons who have posted the thread have GONE ...............................YES GONE

HOW ARE WE just members of the general public ment to help when the original poster has gone?????

Is this just me or am I alone in thinking this?

I dont get it .....................it feels like

"post and get them to do the work"

This has been happening ever since I joined the site many years ago. I don't think some people realise that they will not be notified if someone posts a reply on their thread. They expect Genes to send them a message like lots of other sites do.

Whenever I have requested information in the past I have been so keen to get replies that I would hang around for ages but it just doesn't always happen with some people.

Sometimes the wording suggests that they have only posted to get the name 'on the net'.

If they do come back to the thread, they must be really surprised to find that people have been trying to find them.

Please don't give up - you are all doing a wonderful job in exceptional circumstances. ;-)
