There are about 135,000 women alive in this country who are over 90, and about 11,000 who are over 100.
You never can tell, she might be still alive.

It would be great if she was still alive, and I've been trying to find out for a few years now. Lets just hope Elsie is one of the 135,000.

you need to check the electrol roll which may cost to look at on 192.com
get her birth certificate from GRO at £9.95 as this will possible give her middle name then we can look again for a possible death

She may be in a home for older people and if no family have been to see her the home may assume she has no family and when she passes away she will be registered by someone in the home as just"Elsie lewis" of which there are many

good luck do come back if you get the certificate and we may be able to help you again

You can check the Electrol roll free which will give part of the address...of course she may have opted out of having her details displayed

The birth cert will cost £9.25 from gro.gov

I think I have found her on 192 but I'm going to have to get credits to view the full address, the date shown is 2002 but other occupants have since lived there from what it's saying, and I know she lived at the same address for many years. I appreciate all the help that people have given me, it's so sad as Elsie is my mums aunt, and my mum passed away 3 years ago, I would have loved to have shared all of this information with her, and I didn't even know my great grandparents names so thanks everyone, my search continues to find out where or what has happened to Elsie :-)
