If the marriage turns out to be right, there are 2 children. But you might have to get the cert to confirm.

There is a marriage of a Richard Hamilton (no middle initial) to a Dorothy in Newcastle in 1960 - does that ring any bells?

Thanks for all the replys.
R R Hamilton was born in the N East of Eng, I think, but brought up by his adoptive parents Maurice and Marther Hamilton in Goldthorpe South Yorks.
He did marry, I think she was called Dorothy and I think he lived in Newcastle after leaving the Merchant Navy.
My husband has not spoken to him since the mid 1950s

Welcome to the boards Catherine.

When and where was he last seen? And do you know if he married? No need to put details on here, just a yes or no is enough for now. I am assuming he was born outside England/Wales, Scotland maybe given the name!

Looking for my husband's cousin Dickie born in mid 1930s, grew up in Goldthorpe South Yorkshire and joined the Merchant Navy. My husband would love to get in touch with Dickie again.
