Hi I have been searching for a number of years for my birth father. The only information I have about him is that he was living in no 81 Hazel Court Sketty with his mother Catherine M Hopkins and brother John Hopkins in 1975. He was/is a painter and decorator, he was approx 23/28 in 1975 his brother was younger but I am unsure of how much younger his brother was in the building trade. I unfortunatley do not have his mothers maiden name and have no idea how to obtain it. If there is anyone that can help I would be eternaly greatfull as I wish to find my father before time runs out as none of us are getting any younger. Amanda Louise was Stevenson now Harries

Problem is theres 6 David Hopkins reg in the Swansea reg district for 1950/51 and 4 between 1940 /2 none between 42 and 1950.
But he may not have been born in Sketty which comes under Swansea reg district.

Do you know if he had a second initial ? this may help identify the right one

Amanda

There is no point in starting another thread asking the same thing.

Just add something to your previous one, to bring it back to the top of the board
