Caroline,

Look on FreeBMD for Margaret's birth and note her mother's maiden name. Then search using Leek and the mother's maiden name together. You will see an older sister born in the 40s.

Just realised that this was further confused by my search for Margaret Nair - hence 1946 a this is a different search for my brother. Apologies :-S

Caroline Report 25 Nov 2012 22:39

Sorry for so much confusion.
My Margaret is the 1973 marriage to Paul J Taylor.

I know I have put out two searches for Margaret - but as I was unsure if she was alive or not I was advised to post on living relatives as well as finding ancestors.
My apologies to those of you trying to help me.

Margaret was born in 1951 - so how do I locate her sisters family tree?

There is a marriage of a Margaret to an Ian Taylor in 1970, Stockport, and a marriage of a Margaret R Leek to a Paul J Taylor in 1973, Stockport.
The Margaret who marries Ian Taylor is possibly a member on here.
However, which Margaret is meant to be your Mother?

IF it is the one born 1951, her sister has a tree on here.

Your other thread said she was born in 1946. Which is it? Do you have your birth cert? A middle name should be mentioned on it.

There's a marriage in 1973.

How can they both marry in 1970/1971 - or different Taylors?

Looks like different Taylors.

Hi Caroline.
Do you mind if I ask why you are looking for this person? Your info seems quite sketchy.
Do you actually know the name and are being discreet?

Born May 1951
Married in 1970 or 1971 - Taylor
I believe she had two sons.
Help with this search would be appreciated.
Thank you
