Find Living Relatives

i'm stuck!!
I'm looking for living relatives of Kenneth Harold Reginald Martin. born 1926, medway, kent. died 1985 australia, wanneroo. he married sybil p king in 1945. 2nd marriage to margaret howard in 1973. he left for australia. i need help tracking any living cousins i may have.

According to Findmypast his first marriage was in 1949 not 1945 and there are too many Martin/King births to be certain which may be their children.

Have you tried Search All Trees under the Search button above?

You can put the names of the family in and see if anyone else has them.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

I would suggest that you delete the automatic message about looking at their tree. Most members will not open their trees to you until a connection has been established so just type your own message about who you think you may have in common.

Who registered his death?

Did Sybil die? Or were they divorced?

There is a well documented tree on Ancestry owned by Paula Watson. She lives in the USA.

Unfortunately, you can’t apply for the death certificate until 30 years after the event – 2015.

If you were to contact them, it’s possible that the Cemetery will provide you limited details of his internment.

It might be worth contacting Paula and see if you can pool resources.

all the info you have found is what i have found. paula watson is the american cousins family i have just found. wanted to try genes reunited to see if it through up anything new. we don't know if kenneth had children. if he did then it means i may have many more cousins alive in australia. thank you for all your hard work x :-D

At least Paula looks as if she has done a lot of the ground work...and you have a new branch to explore. The US records don't have the same privacy restrictions - it can be quite scarey at times!!!

There is only one possible UK birth for the daughter named by Paula........in 1960, in Camberwell, with second initial 'P'....

She could, of course, be the daughter of the second wife from a previous marriage/relationship

If the man re-married in 1973 in the UK, he couldn't have fathered a child in Australia in 1960.

i did read your post and i did try looking on the bmd. i only found a ronald j martin and no sally or sallie. i am new to all this and only stumbled across paula when i googled their names. until a few weeks ago, i only knew of a brother on my dads side, and thats all i've known. tried to find the rest of the family for paula and my uncle ron because i think it will make them smile x
