Member Since: August 2012 Posts: 5 Send Message	Looking for Percy Lansdale born I think around 1925-30ish, possibly in Basra Iraq. He is/was half Persian. But was definitely in UK around April 1954. If any one has any information about him or any relatives please contact me. Many thanks David

	Whereabouts was he David? Do you have any other info at all - names of siblings, where he worked or lived for example? There is a death for a Reginald Percy Lansdale, birth 1929, but probably not the person you are looking for.. I can't find a corresponding birth in England/Wales though: Name: Reginald Percy Lansdale Birth Date: 19 Feb 1929 Date of Registration: May 1999 Age at Death: 70 Registration district: North Walsham Inferred County: Norfolk Register Number: ER48A District and Subdistrict: 6381 Entry number: 75 Jan

Member Since: August 2012 Posts: 5 Send Message	Thanks for the response from both of you. As you say I do not think that Reginald is the man that I am looking for. The Percy Lansdale I am looking has a mother who is Persian. I have information provided by Jenifer Tuddenham to the adoption agency that Percy Lansdale is my father. I do not know whether he is aware of my existence. I have no idea if he is alive or not - there do not appear to be any marriage, birth or death records in the UK of any one of that name. I have no other information about him or his family at all. Thanks for your help David

	If Percy's father was a British citizen, the birth should be among the overseas records on FMP You may not have been conceived in the UK
