I am looking for relatives of these two people. Thomas ( birth unknown) married Molly (born 1928) at Hove Sussex 1949. Their children are Linda A (born 1950) and Andrew J D (born 1953) Shepherd, both born at Worthing Sussex.

I am the cousin of Molly M Shepherd (nee Maechler).

Have you tried looking for marriage of the girls- chances are they did marry.

Have you bought their marriage cert? This will give their ages at marriage and fathers names ,if known

Molly,s mothers name is Mowbray so you can look on FreeBMD for siblings and parents marriage

A search for their names on Whitepages.com gives Molly's age as c84 and Thomas' as c86 which would seen about right.

Choccy and I are convinced that the family emigrated to America on 7 May 1959.

The family at the time consisted of

All applied for naturalization at the District Court in California on 1 Jul 1969. As Andrew was still only 15, he might automatically have become a citizen due to his parents new nationality – not being an Naturalisation specialist, someone else would have to advise if that is true.

At that time, they were living at 824 - 18th Street, Santa Monica.

They had 3 other children after their arrival
