hi my partner iss looking for any relatives, of mr edwin holmes born november 1903 in clerkenwell, he was a cab prorietor in that area.. and i know he lived holford place he is my partners grandfather
any help will be appreciated

There is a tree on Ancestry for this family. It says his name is Edwin Percy Holmes and that he married 1930 regd. Hammersmith to a Florence Grace Platts. There appears to be a daughter born of this marriage but no details, just marked private.

thankyou everyone .. the baptism is very helpful, we have minimal info..
his father was also named edwin so these details are correct.. edwin senior was born in jelies yard clerkenwell, which really has disappeared from any trace,
on his birth certificate edwin senior patents lived in upper rosoman street, he would love anyone who knows any information about these families thanx
