Is he Fred or Frederick?
Does he have a middle initial?
Is he married?
Siblings, parents, children's names, etc?

Hi, I am doing this for some friends who live in Queensland Australia.
Fred Hunt was born 1937 month unknown, not sure where my thoughts are Islington London. Lived in Windsor House, Wenlock Street Islington. Only child sorry no idea what parents name where.
H e was a Queens scout was in the REME and worked British American Tobacco Co, job was a mechanic.

Sorry this all the info they can remember.

You haven't said WHEN he lived in Shoreditch.........vital info

Alfred Henry Hunt and Ethel Ann Hunt....plus others

Checked for marriage. Married in 1903, so not relevant

Your friends will need to give you more info.....particularly with regard to DATES

And an idea of their connection to this man.

Hi, this one of the problems the couple i am trying to help don't seem to be able to give me much info, i suspect Fred lived in wenlock st as a youngster as the man of the couple were very good friends. The problem with this is people move around so much now , i recently heard through Genes from somebody who turned out to be a second wife of a friend of ours, unfortunately he had passed away in 2001 only aged 57yrs old.. Will look at friends now once again thank you.

As they know he was in REME (probably National Service) and worked for BAT, they must have been in touch with him in the 1950's at least.

Born 1937, he would have been called up any time from 1955.............

Thank you so much for all the info , i shall carry on searching all though i feel its going to be a difficult one , also i have suggester to them that they try Forces Reunited as he was in the REME.
Once again thank yo so much for your time.
