Hello Reggie,

Nothing to worry about. Your sharpness at times can be misunderstood.

You have been very helpful - are very helpful on this site.

Reggie Report 27 Feb 2013 16:01

After I tried to help you!!!

And what did Saffo(sic) say to prompt your remark?

Monica Report 27 Feb 2013 14:33

Thanks, I am not letting Reggie get to me, I know it will be difficult to find her after all these years, I have limited information

Monica Report 27 Feb 2013 14:32

Monica Report 26 Feb 2013 16:25

Thanks everyone for attempting to find my sister Patricia Ellen Church. I realize that after all this time that it would be very difficult to find her, but I apreciate your efforts.

Flip Report 23 Feb 2013 12:14

There is a birth in Cambridge for a lady of that name in 1941 - so doubtful especially as the name is spelt different to the mmn.

Sappho Report 23 Feb 2013 11:13

This may help although I think it may be a bit far fetched:-

Name Patricia E Sturgeon
Year of Marriage 1961
Quarter of Marriage Jul-Aug-Sep
Registration District Woolwich
Registration County London
Spouse's Surname Bown
Volume Number 5D
Volume Page 2223

Do you think Patricia may have used her mmn?

Reggie Report 23 Feb 2013 11:09

That is the birth to which all helpers have referred, and of which Monica is fully aware.

It's later info about the lady which is not available................

Sappho Report 23 Feb 2013 11:05

Hi Monica,

I found this, which I think is interesting in view of the above information you have shared.

Name Patricia E Church
Year of Registration 1937
Quarter of Registration Oct-Nov-Dec
Registration District Lothingland
Registration County Suffolk
Mother's maiden name Spurgeon
Volume Number 4A
Volume Page 1549

Does this fit in with your serach so far?

Monica Report 22 Feb 2013 23:01

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Reggie Report 22 Feb 2013 22:46

I don't think your father's name is relevant.

Your birth was registered as CHURCH..............

We know you need help.....that's what we've been trying to give you.

But there is no record of Patricia except her birth.....and we can't provide what doesn't exist

And.... a tip for future reference

It's a good idea to say 'please' and 'thank you'

Monica Report 22 Feb 2013 22:07

The marriage between Church Edward A & Spurgeon Gladys Rudy Church looks like the legitamite parents of Patricia Ellen Church . The last known address of Patricia is in 1953-1960 Station Road Beccles, and then Bosmere Hall, Needham Market as an apprentice dressmaking. I have no other info. than that. I need help finding her. My mother was Spurgeon Gladys Rudy Church. I was born in Eye 1946
Church Edward A. died in 1942. My fathers name is George Knights of Lowestoft.

Reggie Report 22 Feb 2013 11:49

There is no birth registration for Patricia E Church with MMN Church

Try using google to find out

Monica Report 22 Feb 2013 03:23

what is Bosmere Hall? Is it a residence, is it still there?

jax Report 22 Feb 2013 01:04

Think you will find it is Bosmere Hall

Monica Report 22 Feb 2013 00:39

There is a type error on the document that we are looking at, the last known address for Patricia Ellen Church in 1960 is Boamere Hall, Needham Market, not sure if Boamere is correct spelling.

Monica Report 15 Feb 2013 20:58

The only other place Patricia lived was Boamere Halll, Needham Market

Monica Report 14 Feb 2013 14:02

The only other place she lived was Boamere Hall, Needham Market

jax Report 14 Feb 2013 01:11

If her surname was church in 1960 she had not been adopted by them

Was that the last time you heard from her? not seeing a marriage for her...could she have emegrated do you think?
