Looking for " Bill " ? Coxhead.Lived in Broxbourne, Essex in 50s,? married to Joyce; son of Rose and Bill who had Chalkfield Nurseries.My brother, sister and I used to visit as children as we lived in Chingford [ Auntie Maud and Uncle Bert were our parents.
Would love to hear about them all,as we seemed to loose touch in late 60s with us all moving away.Am regularly on this site Daphne

Broxbourne is in Hertfordshire...............NOT in Essex

Hi,you have posted the name and address of the nurseries,so do you have any information at all. The address in the 50s was in Essex and came under Epping Council,which is how I obtained the name "Coxhead". No other information on names,as I was a cild then and only knew them as Auntie and Uncle, parents of Bill. Rose was sister to my maternal grandmother [ Maud Hobbs],and my parents were Maud and Albert Hobbs, all now deceased

Your father was a Hobbs and your maternal grandmother was also? Do you mean paternal? What was Rose's maiden name and when was she born?

Please list maiden names for all the females you mention.

I've been trying to research this...........so far without much success.

Daphne's mother's maiden name was Woodcroft, assuming I have the right birth, which I'm pretty sure I have.

There are no recorded siblings, and no Hobbs/Woodcroft marriage
