	You can only look at someone's tree with their permission, so you have to have made contact with them. Go to Search (Top right) Click on Search All Trees. Enter the name you are looking for with birth date See who has that person in their tree. Click on the 'Find out more' tab, and you can then attempt to send them an email by getting rid of the automated genes message and writing one of your own. The person may no longer be a member of genes, so you may get no response if they have a different email address that genes does not know.

	I looked for Daniel Curry, born Liverpool about 1945. There is Daniel Currie born 1943.... (And 2 people have him in their tree on here)

	Have you attempted to find out more about either birth parent? His name might actually be Currie.

Member Since: February 2013 Posts: 5 Send Message	I was born in Redruth in Cornwall in 1965. I was called Fiona Butchart. My birth parents Daniel Curry from Liverpool and Patricia Butchart from Carnoustie Scotland. I was sent to another family for adoption. :-\
