Australian marriage

I understand that Australia has tighter control on marriage info, ie. not after 1962. Any ideas as to how I can research for an Australian marriage about 1968ish>

Each State varies but you are correct none go futher then 1962. Finding a marriage will be pot luck . Try googling, or look for trees on here or ancestry to see if anyone has the information.
I am assuming that this is normal family research. If it is adoption related then different laws apply and this information can be got via official channels.( unless a veto in place)
