Find Living Relatives

Thanks to everyone who has helped but have done a little cross checking and have found that:-
Cyril.P. wed an Alice Shilton in 1940 - but cant find any children of this couple.
Harold.C. numerous marriages for this name but have listed marriages to
McHale 1940 Walker1942 Wood 1944 Hendon 1948.

Sylvia.A. Pauline. Avice. and Malcolm. noted the Pauline and Avice were born in Ashton (where is this?)
Wondered if anyone could check on these and see if i have missed something.
Have checked on genes but cant find any members to these names!
Any further help would be greatly appreciated.

You can find their marriages on FreeBMD. There are several Harold Cs but only one Cyril P.

Cyril Percy died in 1994.

He WAS Harold Clifford and he died in 1987.


Hope you can see now why it was important to have their father's details.

There's a marriage to a Dalton and there were these children but it's 10 years earlier than you said and not the Stoke area:

Harold C could be Harold Clifford?

I am looking for Harold so that we can find his children. If we can trace his marriage we can use his wife's maiden name to look for the births.

There are some possible marriages for him but not seeing any births for a Clifford or Cyril that match.

If you search FreeBMD you will see he was Harold John registered in Aston district.

He was born 1890c in Birmingham (kings norton) to John and Martha.

Can you tell us more about Harold? How are you related to him, when was he born?

Hi yes did check BMD and all i could find was the same as PricklyHolly.
I know the family at one time did live in Stoke on Trent area.
Their father was named Harold but not sure to whom he wed and when.
I know that one of the sons died many years back but dont think its the one that Reggie found but again dont know when.
Any further help would be greatly appreciated

Assuming Cyril and Clifford are brothers.........the only Cyril and Clifford i can spot on Freebmd between 1922 and 1928.....with the same Mothers Maiden name which happens to be "Rowley"........

Cyril born Stoke on Trent and Clifford born Kiddiminster.

Do you know who their parents were.???

To find out if anyone else has researched this family have you tried "Search All Trees" under the Search button above?

You can put the names of the family in and see if anyone else has them.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

I would suggest that you delete the automatic message about looking at their tree. Most members will not open their trees to you until a connection has been established so just type your own message about who you think you may have in common.
