I totally agree that nothing is 100% certain, that is why we have to work back using the birth, marriage and death certificates, and then also the censuses.

The certificates also give other information - ages, occupations, informants, witnesses, addresses, to bring meaning to what you have found elsewhere.

The marriage I posted was the CORRECT one for Randolph's parents..........look at the data on the 1911 census

The man who married Broxton - in Shropshire - was Samuel George..........NOT Sam
