I thank you for all your suggestions and also finding the death record of Arthur Reed, don't know why I couldn't find that!
Sometimes I find that the search cannot come up with the same result that I know I previously have found successfully???
Still no success with search for Ivan Read b1960 in Co Durham, so perhaps he's abroad now.
His mother disappears about 2007 from her address in Durham (I had found that on 192.com) and I have written to that address to see if current owners know where she went . . . . . just wondered if she is in sheltered accommodation or retirement home where the electoral role is not up to date.

Looking for Ivan Reed, of Stanhope, Co Durham, my 2nd cousin. I would like to ask him about the details I have (or lack) regarding his family links to the Williamson's of Consett Co Durham. I believe his grandmother was Laura M Williamson b1904.
I would ultimately like to visit his mother Dorothy (if she is still alive) and perhaps also meet Ivan (who I haven't seen since he was 4 months old).
