Just for info, the birth gives Sheila M Dumont.

Could you say how you are related to her, please?

Is she related to Paula and Harry who were born in Middlesborough?

Did her mother remarry?
Added: Presumably yes, as that is your surname.

Have you contacted anyone who has any of the family in their trees on here?

Did she take the surname of her Mother's second husband?

Her birth registration suggests that she is your sister...........although the person registering her birth may not have told the truth

Paula, how and where did you find the Dupont/Thompson marriage?

If you want people to keep on looking you need to untick the 'mark as answered', or people will think you have all the information you need.

My post asked Paula to remove the personal details.i.e. the lady's DOB, as it could lead to her post being reported and removed.

She took exception to the advice, and told me so in no uncertain terms in a PM.

Needless to say, I wouldn't dream now of trying to help her.............

You could also try searching for Sheila using her second married name on.......

Oh, that is a disappointment but thank you all the same. Her maiden name would have been Thompsont. She was never a Roberts (it is complicated).

I am learning 'on the fly' (as we say here - USA) how best to use this information and thank patchem for another tip.Ash is very near Aldershot and there was no Dumont/Thomson marriage. I cannot give more information on a public forum.

Using Sheila's second married name (If that is indeed Sheila's second marriage!) .........there are 2 possibilities on 192.com in the Hampshire area.

Amazing information about my family including some dates I did not know.I have been looking for the info which said that Sheila Thompson married Samuel F Bridges in 1978, and now I cannot find that link??? Would so much appreciate it again please, as I have found that couple. I am sure it must be my fault as I am new to this part of this site.
Obviously I want to be as sure as possible at this stage.
