I know her exact date of birth but I'm hoping she may still be alive. I've searched for deaths in the uk using Mary K Wilson but haven't found any with her birth date. As she had family connections with Ireland I wondered if that was a possibility. There was talk of her going abroad possibly to USA or Canada but that maybe only family heresay. I have no connection with this family but I've been trying to find her on her daughters behalf who is very keen to find her.

We can search for her death in this country by using her exact date of birth.
If the informant on her death certificate knows the correct birth date, of course.
Have you got it?
Have you looked to see if anyone has her in their tree on here?
Is it just a guess that she may have moved abroad, or some evidence of this?

I am trying to find the whereabouts of Mary Kathleen Young born in 1921 in Lanchester, Durham to Robert William Young, a miner and Mary A Mulligan. She married John William Wilson in 1939 in Scarborough, North Yorkshire where Mary had three, possibly four children. After leaving Scarborough she spent some time living and working in Leeds but in the early 1940s she "disappeared" leaving her family behind. She had connections with Ireland but there is a possibility she may have moved abroad. I am posting this message on behalf of her daughter who would dearly love to get in touch.
