If the marriage of Daphne to Edwin is correct they had 4 children between 1961 and 1965.
One of those children, Gary, appears to be in 2 people's trees on here. You could try to contact them.

You could also look for him on 192.com, as he is showing in Hastings.

I am interested in who the Daphne V Hook living in Hastings is - has she been widowed or divorced and reverted to her maiden name?

patchem Report 5 May 2013 17:36

If you look up Philadelphia Denyer on 192.com, she can be found with John R Denyer in Robertsbridge.
If you then look on bt online for Denyer living in Robertsbridge you will get an address and number for J R Denyer.

I have done a bit more digging, and I have found a Philadelpia Hook, married John R Denyer, Battle Sussex,. 1969, and Daphne v Hook, married Edwin J Terrell, Battle, Sussex 1959. I think this must be them, The person who told me they lived in Hastings was someone I bumped into, a while ago, and he didn't give me the impression that they were living together.

patchem Report 3 May 2013 20:33

When you say that Phyllis and Daphne lived in Hastings a year or so ago, do you mean together, and both with the surname Hook, or had either married?

At least 6 GR members other than you have the above Philadelphia in trees on here

If you wish to try to contact living relatives, use the 'search all trees' function.

You can find it in the dropdown under the 'search' button at the top of this page

Click on 'find out more' alongside the tree owner's name, and send a message.

It would be advisable to delete the automatic message included by GR, and say in your own words why you are getting in touch

Mary,

I think you will have to go out looking for them, not expect them to notice this message.

Have you got any dates for births or deaths of your relatives, and have you also found births on free bmd to see if they have middle initials which helps in identification.

Was Uncle Harry the father of the cousins, or a separate family?
When were you last in contact with them?
Any idea of married names?

And, as a start, have you looked to see if any of them are in other people's trees on here?
